Hi to all.
Can anyone tell me the part number for OME springs that will give my 1985 110 (ex miltary) with a300TDI about a 1inch lift. The Britpart web sight shows that they carry Old Man Emu springs but their web sight is really lacking in info. (or that's the way it seems to me).  I would like to know the actual OME numbers and also the Britpart corresponding numbers.
Thanks
Ian

The OME catalog is here: http://www.arbusa.com/Uploads/PDF/onlineManualsGuides/OME_Guide_current.pdf  Page 46 for the 110 specs.  Their lifts are more to due with load carrying than lift.

The same information is on Britpart's site, if you go to the specific spring page: http://www.britpart.com/parts/suspension-and-axle/springs/coil-springs/old-man-emu/defender/  You can match by the specs and descriptions.

Nothing is really designed for only a 1" lift.  You would need to go another route if you want to stay that low.

The OME 763 coils on my disco are claimed at about 1 1/4 "  .

In fact if I remember correctly, ome springs are mostly 20-45 mm

Thanks for the OME link. I do realize that its more about weight that lift, but the side product is a slight lift. Near as I tell the Britpart # DA8910 (front) matches up with OME#2751 and Britpart #DA6841 matches up with OME #2752 (rear).
I wonder if any one has used these OME springs and if so do they like them.
Pechanec, how do you like the OME springs you are using?
Thanks to the both of you.

If you want to save a bit of money the Land Rover NRC9448/9449 springs are the same specs as the OME 2751.  They are stock rear springs for 90s, so a lot of people have them sitting around getting dusty after they installed aftermarket springs.

The 2751 (or NRC9448/9) and the the 2752 should be good choices.  Your part crossovers look correct to me.

Running OME springs in both my disco 1 and wife's disco 2. They work well, excellent flex- makes the Jeepers we wheel with envious

Already a Rover

I have single leaf springs from my 88, front and back if you want to try them.  They have about 7,000 miles on them.

I took two springs out front and back and have since put one (small one) back.  I would say they would give you about an inch 5 bucks each.
