Title: wanted cheapish snowmobile
Post by: headdamage on March 09, 2019, 10:20 PM
I've moved to Elkford and the snow is way too deep for my Rover during the winter for exploring trails. Any chance someone on here would like to sell and/or trade me a snowmobile?

Don't need to be highmarking......bottom valley of a steep slope works just fine with express delivery snow ;-)

No worry, I'll apply my self powered back country experience and a peep and probe is on the shoping list. Not to be mistaken for a service that has a happy ending.

Two back country sky quotes to live by:

"You can learn everything there is to learn about snow and avalances......but an avalanche won't know you're an expert."
Peter Amann (avalanche forecaster Jasper)

"One yodel out of place would attract, not the jolly echo of a lonely goatherd, but fifty tons of express-delivery snow."
Terry Pratchett,  Reaper Man book
