Title: Trany Tuesday
Post by: RossM on August 27, 2019, 08:38 PM
Funny how a small repair last fall turned into a rebuilt steering box, new camshaft and rollers, new ignition, new shift kit, rebuilt brakes and new booster, a new oil pressure sensor and other small fixes. Now a clutch and maybe a transmission rebuild. Now if I were a smart old man I would have taken all the fenders off once and pulled the engine and trans together and did all the jobs together. But no, it is more "fun" to put it all back together after each job. Any way getting the floors, seat frame and transmission out was a full day job for this old guy. Time for a whisky and Robaxacet!

Cheers
Ross

Worse is when the new Ashcroft transmission turns out to have a defect.
