we're open to offers and would at least like to make more than what we'd get from a scrap yard.

Finally have some price guidelines from accounting. Half off princess auto prices.

Welding Cables selection and use varies. However, with good knowledge, you can become more informed in how to apply them in accessory wiring for our use. Such applications include winch wiring. Spare long boost Cables for batteries. New 60 and 100 Amp power bus for auxiliary Ltd applications. The list can go on.

This link has excellent write up about Welding Cables and their ratings for welders. As long as you are able to calculate your current, you should be able to select your wire.

http://m.lincolnelectric.com/en-us/support/welding-solutions/Pages/selecting-proper-size-welding-cables.aspx

The formula is Power (Watts's)=current(Amps) x Voltage (D.C. Or Ac, single phase) OR
Power (Watts's)=current(Amps) x Voltsge (Ac- three phase)x 1.73(square root of 3).

I was looking through the Greggs catalogue today, and they have several of the automotive ends, battery, etc. I think Ian has access to the crimper too, if you bring the ends in for him. A guy can fab up custom battery assemblies, etc.

Eecol will have the electrical-specific lugs for bonding or AC contacts.

Good cable i picked up some today, thanks Ian.

So, what is left from these wires?

Gardenome

Most of it. I'll bring it up today and let you know what they say.
