Title: Heater
Post by: gfdp2421 on July 30, 2023, 05:54 PM
I have a 2008 Landrover LR2, the heater/AC makes a squealing sound on low, anybody had this and if so what was the fix?

My 07 LR3 had a squeal on low, went away on high or turned off. It was my blower motor, also found my plug going into the resistor was ready to catch fire has it was burnt pretty good, so had to replace the pigtail and resistor, all sounds went away after replacing that. Not sure where your blower motor is on that but if it's accessible, turn on low to get the squeal and use a stethoscope or an old screw driver with those hard handles, they resonate sound nicely, put the handle to your ear and the flat blade to whatever you're trying to hear.

If youre near leduc, I have a stethoscope we can try and have a listen to your blower motor.
