Title: Towing question
Post by: Gardenome on October 05, 2019, 07:16 PM
I know I've read it somewhere but I can't find it now that I need to know. If my front tires are on a trailer, and the back tires are on the road I remember that my high/low gear should be in neutral and the main gearbox should be in fourth. Do I remember correctly?
Thanks.

This is interesting.....Is that to keep the gearbox turning and the oil sloshing about within the gearbox????

It would certainly be easier then disconnecting the drive shaft at the rear diff.... :)

You could do either.  This is just for a Series.  You can't do this on one with full time 4WD.
