Does any of our good members by any chance have a good brake servo for a '96 disco 1 they might be willing to sell?
I have one, but I'm in Medicine Hat.
Those dual diaphragm ones seem to have a high failure rate. You are probably better off getting a new OEM one. They are not that expensive.
I have a used one if you want to go that route

Thanks Matt and pechanec, unfortunately both of you are a little far for me to travel and then pick up the (new to me) disco in Calgary. So what are the opinions about plugging the vacuum ports and driving 400+ kms without the servo? After a little thought that is really not feasible is it.
Not the ideal fix

Humbug, brakes are for the weak! That's why other cars have crumple zones.
So they can assist in slowing down broken Land Rovers with damaging them.

Good point!

I think I might have run out of "crumple zones" on the way from Calgary to here lol.
Anyway a huge thank you to 88hillman for towing the truck from Calgary to Bowden and helping me load it onto my trailer. Thank you very much.
Still need a servo for it so if you still have that one pecanec I'll pm you to set something up.
