Chhhhrrristmas it's cold! My Series 2A was gas, now a 2.5 NA diesel. I'm trying to figure out where/how to mount the dual fuel filters. There are no existing holes/casing nut that I can find on the fire wall. Of course where I want to mount them I don't have access behind. Mr Google suggests installing nut insert? I was just going to use a large metal screws So before I started drill holes or ordering stuff I thought I'd reach out for some ideas/thoughts! In the meantime wishing all a happy holiday season! you have a few options
primary filter could go close to the tank on the frame, secondary filter should go on the bulk head or the RH inner fender, are you you going to use any of the 2.5 NAD fuel lines, or custom fabricate all the lines ?

you can mount direct or fabricate a bracket this is for a toyota but should get you thinking about bracket options.
Keep your fuel lines/filters on the opposite side of the engine to the exhaust
Thanks Alex, thanks for the websites. I'm looking for the easiest way for me to put the fuel lines in. I do have some nylon lines and fittings, not sure to use them or go with a new system that John used with hydraulic lines? A couple of things have come up that I need to consider, certainly putting the "main" filter on the frame would work, I have added a 2nd fuel tank so I'll have to look where I could put the filter? In my reading they talk about a separator? I don't recall see one of these in my parts or whether my 2.5 even had one? If you have 2 filters do you need a separator? I also have lever so that the tank systems work independently and I got an 2nd fuel tank guage for the spare tank. All in all I'm trying to lay the system out on paper so I can visualize what it would look like and know what (where) I can source the fittings/hose. John gave me a pretty good description, however I still might need to have it further dummies down for me to grasp! Lol Cheers Craig
A water separator, sedimenter between the tank and lift pump is a good idea to protect the lift pump, then a filter between the lift pump and injection pump.

As to mounting to the firewall, I would use Rivnuts.
