Title: Alaska Highway sightings
Post by: ugly_90 on August 28, 2015, 09:09 AM
Here working on the Alaska highway most of this year. I've seen a few small expedition trucks, all with European plates. I've seen a late 80's land cruiser cab with truck camper, a Iveco 4x4 van made into an expedition truck, and a very new Isuzu D-Max pickup with truck camper. Two of the trucks were headed to Alaska, the other was going the other way. Unsure of their route, if this is a loop, or a sea ferry at the other side.

Haven't seen any landrovers in that group yet. The off-shelf truck camper seems to work well for these road expeditions. Could do the same with a 110 pickup.

I'll try. These foreign vehicles are so infrequent, its like getting a photo of sasquatch.
