Title: Info on Kodiak Heater motor for series trucks
Post by: binch on August 27, 2020, 09:02 PM
I was speaking with Bill Nickson out in New Brunswick this evening and he's had to replace the blower motor on his S11a's Kodiak heater.    Turns out they are still available!

"The 'Kodiak' heater was installed in S2A's 62 til 68.
The 12v fan motor has a Ford-Motorcraft number which is MM427.
An aftermarket number is 'Four Seasons'  UNIMOTOR 35502.  Made in Canada.  Is reversible.
Found one at APM but no doubt avail. other suppliers.  Market price is about $60 Cdn" ;)

I may be wrong here but I thought you could use a ford falcon heater core in the Kodiak as well.  It's been a while so I could be wrong here.....
