Help...Carb, Shocks and Springs 1961 Series 2A

I am new to tis forum and recently bought my 1961 Land Rover back fro the gent I sold it to 16 years ago....

He unfortunately has left it in a bit of a rough shape and I am looking to source some parts and some direction as I come across issues with the truck.

I need off the cuff some springs and shocks (bushings etc.) as well as the best option for either replacing or rebuilding the carb.

Are you sure the springs need replacing?  They should last forever really. They are so heavy, they are not fun to ship.  You might consider getting new parabolics if you want something better.  http://parabolicsprings.com/products.html

The rest is easily bought new.
